Customers are making the most of Service NSW’s recently opened service centres, with more than 100,000 customers visiting centres across the South Coast in the last 12 months.Bay, Bega, Eden, Moruya, Narooma and Ulladulla, Service NSW CEO Damon Rees said the Centres had made it easier for customers to transact with government.
“Feedback we’ve received from the community shows that the new one-stop shops have made a real difference to the way customers access government services and transactions across the region,” Mr Rees said.
“Customers can now enter any one of our centres across the South Coast and access over 1000 transactions and services from 40 different agencies, completing multiple transactions in the one visit.
“While many customers may still think we offer only roads and maritime services, Service NSW offers transactions from Births Deaths and Marriages, Opal Card, Seniors Card, NSW Fair Trading, Family and Community Services and much more under the one roof.
Mr Rees joined the teams at Eden, Moruya and Ulladulla to celebrate their official openings with them.
“Our greatest asset is our people and our frontline Service Centre and Contact Centre teams offer the same dedicated, professional, and friendly service to all communities across the state,” he said.
“Our teams are passionate about delivering the best possible customer experience, whether that’s in person, over the phone or online.
“Currently, our frontline and Support Office teams are collecting donations for the Salvation Army as part of their annual Christmas Appeal.
“Christmas is always a stressful time and for many families, a little bit of loose change goes a long way. Our teams are working to support vulnerable members of our community, and I’d encourage customers to give generously where they can.”
